Climb down into this magnificent gorge and hear the tragic story of the shipwrecked Loch Ard where 52 lives were lost and only two survived.

Stop At: Cape Otway, Cape Otway, Great Otway National Park, Victoria
Wander through the giant tree ferns and towering mountain ash trees at Mait's Rest and stop to look for wild koalas in the trees at Kennett River.

Day 2: Phillip Island Wildlife

After breakfast, board the ferry for an hour-long journey across Port Phillip Bay to the Mornington Peninsula. Look out for seals & dolphins which are frequently spotted during the ferry trip. Pass by iconic bathing boxes and spectacular views across the bay on your way to Moonlit Sanctuary.

Experience a guided tour of the multi-award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park where you’ll learn about an extensive array of Australia’s native fauna. Meet the cuddly koalas & friendly kangaroos and wallabies, as well as many other iconic Aussie animals.

Meander along the scenic boardwalks at the Nobbies center for to panoramic views across the island and Seal rocks. Perhaps catch a glimpse of some local fur seals, or even see some little blue penguin burrows under the boardwalk.

Stop At: Phillip Island Nature Parks - Penguin Parade, 1019 Ventnor Rd Summerlannds Estate, Summerlands, Phillip Island, Victoria 3922 Australia
Arrive at Summerland beach as the sun sets to experience the spectacle of hundreds of little blue penguins emerging from the oceans & crossing the sand before continuing their journey through the sand dunes to their burrows.

Your pickup will be between 7am-8am depending on which hotel you selected. Your exact meeting time will be provided after a booking is placed.

This tour returns to Melbourne at approximately 9pm-midnight on day two depending on the season.
